interrelationship between health and human development
good health assists individuals in living a long and healthy life and contributes to children being able to attend school and develop the knowledge they need to make choices about how they live their lives. it also enables individuals to gain employment, which provides an income and will help them afford to buy food, clean water, clothing and shelter, all of which are needed to achieve a decent standard of living. when people feel safe, have their human rights met and have an opportunity to participate in political and community life, each dimension of health is improved.
