18BC - Attempted to elevate the morals of the Roman population swell as its legitimate numbers. It encouraged having children and made adultery a crime. It also gave legal benefits to women who had 3 legitimate sons, such as property ownership.

27BC - As much power as proconsuls in their own provinces.

23BC - Augustus resigned his consulship but gained the power of a tribune for life. He numbered his reign from that date.

23BC - Right to seat at Consul’s platform in senate house.
right to speak first at senate meetings. Right to summon senate meetings.
Imperium mains proconsulae
23BC - Held more authority than proconsuls throughout the empire.
