Where is the input?
At the top of the mixer (start from the top)
What is the first knob on a mixer (at the top)?
Gain (for proper input sound signal)
It is set properly when red clip light goes out (stops flashing)
What is the second knob?
80 Hz Low Cut (removes low frequency sound, like wind outside)
What are the next three knobs?
Hi EQ (varies high frequency range) Mid EQ (varies mid frequency range, our voice) Low EQ (varies low frequency range)
What is the 6th knob?
Mon. Send (monitor send, adjusts channel signal level sent to monitor output)
What is the 7th knob?
EFX (effects, adjusts channel signal level sent to effects mix)
What is after EFX?
Pan (controls where signal is being placed in stereo, turn completely counterclockwise, it will be on left channel, turn completely clockwise, it will be on right channel)
What is after pan?
Mute (mutes all sound, channel, effects, monitor sends, etc)
What is the red light for?
Clip/mute led (lights when channel signal level is near overload or when mute is on)
What is the green light for?
Signal led (lights when channel level reaches approximate level, shows which channels are active, mini level meter)
What is the fader?
Channel output control (sets signal level to left and right mid and effects send control, highest setting is 0 (unity gain)).
