Iroquoise Pipeline shut offs?

A

primary method- use reserve gas, PUSH IN RED HANDLE

another method- manual pump handle, turn lever under red handle to the 9 o’clock position, insert pump handle and begin pumping

-before closing valve, check VALVE FLOW INDICATOR, IF IT CLOSED, NO further action is required

  • CON ED and IROQUOIS PERSONNEL SHALL CLOSE VALVES WHEN ORDERED BY FDNY IC
  • except in the event of immediate threat to LIFE OR PROPERTY
  • primary consideration is evacuation of area involved
