This deck will help you remember the ins and outs of the attendance policy for the CEC.
Are there “excused absences” according to the CEC attendance policy?
No. All attendance infractions count as 1 point.
How late can you be before you are considered tardy?
59 seconds. 1 minute late is considered tardy.
How many infractions is it if you don’t show up for your scheduled shift (a no-call no-show NCNS)?
2 - 1 for the absence // 1 for the improper call out
Should you punch out for your 15 minute paid breaks?
Nope, not in Unifocus.
What information should you include in a message to your manager if you miss a punch?
The time and date of the missed punch or punches.
How many minutes early can you punch in for your shift?

Should you punch out for your lunch break?
Yes! Leave that browser window open so it’s the first thing you see when you log back into your computer.
How long in advance of a call-out should you contact the MOD support line?
At least 1 hour. If it is less than one hour, it will count as TWO infractions.
What do you do if you realize you missed a punch?
Use the quickstep in Outlook to send an email to your manager.

At what number of attendance infractions does progressive discipline begin?
