- Mitral regurgitation
- Mitral valve prolapse
- Mitral stenosis
- Tricuspid regurgitation
Pathology of atrial fibrillation
Dilatation to fibrosis
Drugs for rate control
- Beta blockers (atenolol, metoprolol)
- Central Ca2+ channel blockers (diltiazem, verapamil)
- Digoxin
Drugs for rhythm control
- Amiodarone
- Flecainide
- Sotalol (maintenance)
Or DC cardioversion.
