Describe the hydrolysis of ATP.
A
The enzyme ATP Hydrolase catalyses the hydrolysis of ATP into ADP, an inorganic phosphate ion and lots of energy being released.

A
The addition of a phosphate ion to a molecule making them more reactive

Describe the resynthesis of ATP.
A
ATP Synthase catalyses the condensation reaction which rejoins ADP and Pi during photosynthesis or respiration.
