Methods to determine Excursion
L method
H method
Manual Method
L method
only to be used in calm water with no wind. Pull and then let buoy settle back
H method
pull until at full excursion. Use Pythagorean theorem to solve
Manual Method
Estimate how the dynamic forces are affecting buoy and what percentage buoy is at full excursion. Do H method on USAIMS and then multiply by that percentage.
