Trying to build a habit or break one - you are in the Plateau of Latent Potential. Like complaining about an ice cube not melting when going from 25 to 31 degrees. You’re just not at 32 degrees yet.

People want to go from plant to harvest without cultivating. Plant, cultivate, harvest. It’s the cultivating that takes the longest period of time

Steps to building habits

A

1) Cue - Make it obvious
2) Craving - Make it attractive
3) Response - Make it easy
4) Reward - Make it satisfying.

Cue - Meditation pillow on your way to the bathroom in the morning ( when & where ). Putting your gym clothes out

Attractive - Pair it with something you really enjoy. Like drinking a cup of tea afterward.

Easy - Downscale your habits so they can be done in two minutes or less.
