A

Available: 2 IV forms- Taxol (solvent system); requires pre-treatment w/ antihistamine, corticosteroid, histamine2-receptor blocker 30 min prior to infusion; non-PVC tubing & IV bag is needed; infuse over 3 hrs using inline IV filter

Abraxane- no pretreatment or special equipment; dissolve in vial; infuse over 30 min w/out inline IV filter

Paclitaxel is infused every 2-3 weeks
