What does London Terminal Control Centre (LTCC) do?
Handled all traffic below 24,500 feet flying to or from London’s airports. One of the busiest in Europe, this extends south and east to the borders of France and the Netherlands, west towards Bristol and north near Birmingham.
What does Military Air Traffic Control do?
Provides services to civil and military aircraft operating outside of controlled airspace. They work with civilian controllers to ensure safe coordination.
What does Scottish Area Control Centre (ScACC) do?
Controls aircraft over Scotland, NI, North England, the Midlands, North Wales, and the North Sea from 2,500 ft, up to 66,000ft
What does Oceanic Area Control Centre (OACC) do?
Controls airspace over the eastern half of the North Atlantic from the Azores (45 degrees north) to the boundary of Iceland (61 degrees north).
