What is Newton’s 2nd law of motion?
The relation between force & mass determines the motion(acceleration) of an object
What is the unit of force?
Newton- SI unit of force
1 newton= amount needed to accelerate a 1kg object at the rate of 1m/s2
1N=1 kg* 1m/s2
What is the formula for 2nd law of motion?
F=ma
Newton’s first law (Law of inertia)
Any object @ motion will stay @ motion and any object @ rest will stay @ rest
until acted upon by an unbalanced force where the object changes the movement.
If the object is moving it may stop, change the direction and speed.
Newton 3rd law
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
When 1 exerts force on 2. 2 exerts equal but opposite force.
Earth is pulling on the Moon.
The Moon is pulling on the Earth.
Speed formula
Speed = total distance/ total time
S=d/t
Calculate work
work= force* distance
W= fd
Inertia
The tendency of an object to resist a change in motion.
Forces r balanced = maintains same motion
Forces r unbalanced = changes motion
Eg: Apple hanging. When wind comes(unbalanced force). Apple drops(changes motion)

Ability to do work
What is law of convertion of energy?
energy is never created or destroyed only trannsferred.
Energy convertion
proccess that converts energy from one type to another.
What is Mechanical Energy
energy it takes to move an object
What is Electrical Energy
energy transferred by the flow of electrons
