A Handle that is moved into the open position. The handle is also a position indicator and you can’t close the panel with it pulled
What causes the center tank scavenge system to operate?
When the #1 tank is at 50%.
How would YOU function test the center tank scavenge system?
BITE test through the CDU(Control display unit).
The airplane is fully powered you open the refuel panel door, no lights, no power
to the panel. What might be wrong? How could you still refuel?

What are the two power sources for an engine spar valve?
Fuel spar valve battery, backup is hot buss battery

Describe the procedure to pressure defuel the #1 main fuel tank.
Connect the refuel nozzles
Move the handle on the defuel valve to the open position
Turn on the boost pumps to #1 main fuel tank
Open the crossfeed valve if necessary
Turn the boost pumps off when the tank is empty
Move the handle on the defuel valve to the closed position
Disconnect the fueling nozzles.
Where is the FQPU located?
Ceiling of the forward cargo compartment forward of the cargo door
How is fuel quantity BITE performed?
CDU
Where are the surge tanks found?
Outboard of each main tank and they collect overflow
How can fuel enter the surge tank?
Overfilled tank

What do the fuel float switch’s do?
Remove power to the fueling shutoff valve when the fuel tank is full
What does the tank 1 forward boost pump switch control?
Tank 1 forward boost pump relay
When does suction supply from main tank 1 and 2 occur?
When all boost pumps in one tank are off and the crossfeed valve is closed.
