Nine to five-job
A nine-to-five job is one that you do during normal office hours, for example, a job in a factory or an office.
Clock in/ out
When you clock in at work, you arrive there or put a special card into a device to show what time you arrived.
Heavy workload
The workload of a person or organization is the amount of work that has to be done by them.
Stuck behind a desk
You can use it to refer to someone who spends a lot of time sitting at a desk, usually in an office environment, if they feel like they have no other choice. For example: “After spending years stuck behind a desk, Bob decided to quit his job and follow his passion for travel.”.
