CIMA product access periods as standard
Full-level course: One year
An OT course: Six months
A premium case study course: Access for the sitting chosen
An essentials or preseen case study course: Access for the purchased pre-seen duration
Individual pre-seen case study materials: Access for the purchased pre-seen duration
Individual non-preseen case study materials: One year
Individual OT products: Six months
FLP: One year
Subscription: Must run for one year; after that, access runs for as long as they make payments
Rules regarding CIMA course deferrals
Case study courses can be deferred for up to 4 sittings. The deferral must take place before submitting any mocks for the sitting. Should mocks be submitted, the student will need to repurchase mock marking for the deferred sitting.
One deferral is classed as deferring over 1 sitting. So a deferral from August 2023 to May 2023 would count as 3 deferrals.
OT courses can be paused for up to 6 months based on individual assessment of circumstances. As a general rule, these shouldn’t be paused or deferred. Contact a manager to discuss the circumstances.
FLP and subscription courses can never be deferred.
Rules regarding pass guarantees
The pass guarantee is in place for students who have given the course their best shot and have completed all course content but still failed the exam.
Objective test courses: Students must submit a fully complete pass guarantee form within six months of their course purchase date. We can then grant access for as long as they need to pass.
Case study courses: Students must submit a fully complete pass guarantee form for the case study sitting they have taken. They must also submit three mocks for marking, gaining an average score of 40% across these mocks. If these conditions are met, we can then grant access to as many sittings they need with us to pass.
Full-level courses: Students will have access to four courses with this package. Students must submit their first pass guarantee form before their course expiry date. Once this has been submitted, we can grant further access to the current course if they fail or add in their next course’s access if they pass. Rules regarding the case study included in the package are the same as above.
Subscription: There is no pass guarantee with the subscription. Students continue to make the monthly payment until they have passed or no longer wish to use the service.
FLP: There is no pass guarantee with the FLP. Students will have access until their yearly subscription expires. If they would like further access, they’ll just need to purchase another year with Astranti FLP.
Cancellation policy for the subscription
Students must make a minimum of 12 monthly payments before they cancel the subscription. After the 12 months, they can cancel at any time. To cancel, they will just need to let the customer service team know.
There is a 14 day money back guarantee which means that if they cancel within the 14 days after the subscription purchase date, they will receive a refund.
