  • dyspnoea, using accessory muscles.
  • chest tightness
  • wheezing on expiration

Management of an asthma attack.

A
  1. Help them take their reliever through a spacer.
  2. Sit them upright and take slow breaths.
  3. Reassess
  4. Continue 2 puffs every 2 minutes for up to 10 mins.
  5. No improvement so call 999.
