USE PRN

Low dose steroid “ ends in “one” and SABA
Flovent (fluticasone)
Pulmicort (budesonide)
Qvar
Asmanex
and
albuterol or xopenex
or
combo (LABA + ICS)
PRN Symbicort works 5 mins (budesonide/formoterol) works as a rescue inhaler

we can go up from low dose to medium dose

ICS/LABA at a similar ICS dose or medium-dose ICS

SMART (single metaniance and relief therapy- can give up to 9 puffs a day with symbicot)
