How does IVF work
There are about 20-30 eggs which grow in the ovaries however only one comes down as it is the one absorbing the most nutrients. The rest die off In IVF, you get as many of the eggs as you can and try to grow them all using FSH.
How do you work out the dosage of FSH to give during iVF
Work out how many follicles the woman has. If there’s not a lot of follicles, no point in giving very high numbers
Difference between IVF and ICSI
IVf is where the egg and sperm are mixed together in a Petri dish
ICSI - a single sperm is injected into each mature egg

Blastocyst forms on day 5
