How are contact metamorphism and regional metamorphism different? Include two differences for full credit
Contact metamorphism happens when very hot magma gets inside the process of any rock than is cooler than the magma like sedimentary, metamorphic, or igneous.
Regional metamorphism occurs when big crust movements destroy or create new rock formations.
These two are different because one is already solid and changes when there is movement (regional) and the other happens when it is not fully solid yet (contact). Another difference they have is that (contact) happens below the earth’s surface and regional happens on earths surface.
