The region had a few natural barriers as well. Nomadic herders, invaders, and traders moved through the deserts and crossed through mountains which would lead themselves to the Fertile Crescent.

The importance of the Babylonian achievements was that they created laws which impacted their way of life. I say this because when Hammurabi created the Code of Hammurabi, that was the first major collection of laws in his fort and was set out for all to see, even though few people could read.

The Phoenicians spread among different people’s in the ancient Middle East because they were sailors and traders. Which meant that they created a spread of ideas, culture, etc.

The religion of the ancient Israelites was different from any other religion because they were monotheistic, meaning that this religion had only believed in one true and all powerful God. Compared to other religions which would be polytheistic, meaning that they believed in more than one god or goddess.

For a Egyptians, the pharaoh had a religiously authority to rule. Osiris was also very important because not only did he rule over the underworld, but he also was the God of the Nile. In that role, he had controlled the annual flooding which made it fertile. Isis was also important because she represented the women. Both promised the faithful that they could have life after death.

Some of the main achievements of the ancient Egyptians are medicine, mathematics, astronomy, Egyptian arts, written records, scribes, Egyptian writing, and literature.

Egyptian society was that so upsets had become more fluid as the trade and welfare increased during the New Kingdom. Trade had offered new opportunities for Egypt. Craftworkers would make fine jewelry, furniture, and fabrics for palaces and tombs for pharaohs.
