What is GBH with intent?
Grevious Bodily Harm, The highest one. Such as a stabbing.
What is ABH?
Actual Bodily Harm: The injuries will be obvious to you, and not just a push. Bruising ect.
What is GBH?
Grevious bodily harm. This one is without intent.
What is the offence for pushing someone?
Common assault.
Can you cause common assault without actually hitting someone?
Yes, if you do the motions and they believe they will be under immediate unlawful violence then yes.
Threats to kill?
A person who makes any threat to kill the other, and the victim believes the threat will be carried out.
Under the categories of assault, where would strangling go?
Trick question! The offence would be, Non life threatening strangulation.
Can you have a racial or religiously aggravated assault?
Yes you can.
You try to arrest someone, they then hit you in the face. Whatβs the offence?
Assault with intent to resist arrest.
