When you use chopsticks what should you ALWAYS do?
Never pass food from chopstick to chopstick (that would be like passing food from your fork to someone else…yuck!)
Never stick your chopsticks directly in your food - use the side of your plate or chopstick holder
Do not stick your chopsticks straight up in your food (in some cultures, that represents death / bad luck)
Do not stab your food, move bowls around with them, or move your chopsticks over dishes

What is Elevation?
Elevation is how far from something above or below sea level.

Tectonic plates are pieces of the earth’s crust that are always moving and cause earthquakes, the formation of mountains, and the formation of trenches/ valleys as well as other land forms.

A map that shows the elevation of a small area from a bird’s eye view using circles

Representative Democracy = people vote for someone who represents their ideas/beliefs, and they make decisions based on that

Faster, more streamlined, and those who were elected are (most of the time) educated.
What are cons of representative democracy?
Those that you voted for may not follow through on their promises.
What are some adaptations to fix Japan’s overpopulation problems?
Small houses, bullet trains, air pollution monitoring systems, tall thin buildings, underground malls etc….
Why do certain areas have higher /lower human footprint than others?
Because some areas have larger population leading to larger human footprint.
What information does a lights at night map show you?
Population as well as energy consumption and human footprint
