What is the aim Asch’s experiment.
Whether people would conform fo peer pressure. They was in an unambiguous situation surrounded by strangers.

123 American men. 6-8 people in a group, 1 participant, 7 confederates
What was the tasks the participants have to do.
Matching the length of the comparison line to the original line
Describe the arrangement of the participants in the experiment?
The real participant is placed second to last allowing the confederates to answer FIRST.
What were the main findings?
The participants agreed with the wrong answer 36.8% of the time.
Conclusion
Based on the feet that 36.8% conformed at least once tells that people conform in clear situations because they didn’t want to be excluded from the group. This is called Normative social influence
How did group size affect conformity?
He differed the group size to see wether the larger the group sizewould they be more lively to conform. Which was the case
How was task difficulty investigated?
Aschoff made the takes more difficult in order to see wether making task harder made people conform more from this he discovered that when making the stimulus line and comparison line more similar conformity increased and this was due to informational social influence (isi) as the genuine participant looked to others for guidance and they assumed they wee correct
