Pharmacokinetics
A
- Onset - 1 hour, 20 minutes if chewed
- Peak - 1 to 2 hours
- Duration - 4 to 6 hours; platelet inhibitory effects last the lifetime of the platelet (~10 days)

Cautions
A
- Recent internal bleeding (within last 3 months).
- Known bleeding diseases.
- Patients currently taking anticoagulant agent(s).
- Recent surgery.
- Possibility of pregnancy.
