The architectural wonders the oldest buildings in the world. They were built as monuments to house the preserved mummy of the pharaoh.
The pyramids
The first pyramids constructed. This was dedicated to Pharaoh Zoser and its architect was Imhotep. It is classified as a step pyramid because it looks like a stairway to heaven.

The grandest monuments of the Egyptian Old Kingdom.

one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World because of its exact proportion as measured and established by archeologists. This is the only intact wonder of the ancient world.

Has the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh.
Khefre
The huge mirror at the top of the lighthouse was so well-made that the light it reflected could be seen 50 kilometers away.
The Lighthouse of Alexandria
An early stone relic from the Egyptian culture. It was decorated on both sides to show its ceremonial and commemorative function.
The Palette of King Narmer
An ancient Egyptian system of writing in which pictures and symbols stand for sounds and words.
Hieroglyphic
A stone with text written by a group of priests in Egypt to honor the Egyptian pharoh.
The Rosetta Stone
Mostly made of reddish brown clay. They served everyday purposes and were often left undecorated.
Egyptian Pottery
It was found placed over the head and shoulders of the mummified body of King Tutankhamen. This twenty-four-pound golden death mask is believed to be based on how the “Boy King” Tutankhamen looked like when he was alive.
