Rules of Articles
- used only WITH a noun
* must agree with GENDER and NUMBER (singular/plural)

Negative sentence with indefinite article
Ne (verb) pas de (noun)
*no definite article

*the partitive does not exist in english, but in French it is repeated before each noun.
She doesn’t have any luck
Elle n’a pas de chance
There isn’t a problem
Il n’y a pas de problème
She has a lot of pets
I can do without chocolate

Je peux me passer de chocolat
*use “de” with no article following an adverb and/or phrase with de in it.
