Sec 13 [Licensure Examination Requirement]
- to be a RPh, the applicants must pass the exam (unless exempted)
Sec 14 [ Qualification for the Licensure Exam]
- Filipino citizen or a foreigner coming from a country that has a policy on reciprocity
- has good moral
- a Bachelor of Ph graduate of any related programs or tertiary institutions in other countries accredited by CHED
- the completion of his/her internship program must be approved by the Board

Sec 16 [Holding of Examination]
- will be held two times per year
Sec 17 [Rating in the Licensure Exam]
- GWA of 75%
- 50% and above in any of the subjs
- applicants who failed in their third time is not eligible to take the next exams unless they take a refresher program
Sec 18 [Report of Rating]
- the results will be transmitted by the Board to PRC
- the PRC will email the results to the applicants
Sec 19 [Oath of Profession]
- oath-taking ceremony presided by the member of the Board, PRC or any authorized persons to lead oaths
Sec 20 [ Issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card]
- successful applicants must receive their COR containing the reg #, the date of issuance, signatures of the chairperson (PRC) and members (Board), stamped with seals of PRC and Board
- COR is renewed every 3 yr but must submit a Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from APO and proof of completion of the CPD reqs
Sec 21 [Foreign Reciprocity]
Sec 22 [Practice Through Special/Temporary Permit (STP]
A foreigner Ph doing his/her practice in the PH shall:
- work as a consultant in foreign-funded gov’t projects
- employed by a Filipino employer or establishment
- organize free services in humanitarian missions
- be a visiting faculty member in any specialty in pharmacy
Sec 22 [Practice Through Special/Temporary Permit (STP]
How to acquire STP from the Board and the PRC?
- must be an eminent Ph in the world or expert in any specialization in Ph
- immersed in the provision of a professional service that will compensate for vacancy slots or shortage in Filipino Ph
- must work with a Filipino licensed and RPh
Sec 23 [Grounds for Non-registration]
The Board won’t register successful applicants if:
- proven by the Board that he/she submitted fake documents during the application for the exam
- guilty of immoral of dishonorable conduct by the Board
- medically proven to be a drug or alcohol addict (there is still a chance to acquire the COR if like he/she goes into rehab to eliminate the addictions)
- proven to be a mentally incapacitated person by the court
Sec 24 [Reissuance of Revoked COR, Replacement of Lost or Damaged COR, PIC or STP]
- revoked COR can be reinstated or reissued 2 years after the date of revocation
- others may be required to take the exam again
