Why was it created?
- A body of people representing the states that formally vote for the election of the President/Vice President
- To establish a role for the states, protect the country from ill-informed voters, and to ensure that one part of the country couldn’t decide the president
What is the formula that decides how many electors each state gets?
You add the amount of senators and the amount of House representatives to get the number of electors
How does a candidate win presidency in the Electoral Collage?
He gets 270 votes.
