Rule 7.2(a) Communications Concerning a Lawyer’s Services: Specific Rules
(a) A lawyer may communicate information regarding the lawyer’s services through any media.

(b) A lawyer may not compensate a person who referred her except for
(1) paying for ads or communication under this Rule
(2) paying the usual charges of a legal service plan or a not-for-profit or qualified lawyer referral service
(3) paying for a law practice in accordance with 1.17
(4) referring clients to another lawyer or nonlawyer professional pursuant to an agreement not prohibited under these Rules that provides for the other person to refer clients or customers to the lawyer if
(i) the reciprocal agreement isn’t exclusive and
(ii) the client is informed of the existance and nature of the agreement and
(5) giving nominal gifts as a thanks that are neither intended nor reasonably expected to be a form of compensation for recomending the lawyer’s services
Rule 7.2(c) Communications Concerning a Lawyer’s Services: Specific Rules
(c) A lawyer shall not state or imply he is a specialist unless
(1) the lawyer has been certified and
(2) the name of the certifying organization is clearly indentified in the communication
Rule 7.1 Communications Concerning A Lawyer’s Services
A lawyer shall not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer or the lawyer’s services. A communication is false or misleading if it contains a material misrepresentation of fact or law, or omits a fact necessary to make it not materially misleading.
Rule 7.3(a) Solicitation of Clients
(a) Solicitation means any communication a lawyer or firm sends to a person knowing, or should reasonable know, that the person needs legal services and offering to, or would be reasonably seen as offering to, provide them.
Rule 7.3(b) Solicitation of Clients
(b) A lawyer shall not solicit employment by a live person-to-person contact mainly motivated by the lawyer’s gain unless the contact is
(1) a lawyer
(2) a person who has a family, close personal, or prior business or profesional relationship with the lawyer or firm or
(3) a person who routinely uses the type of legal services offered for business purposes
Rule 7.3(c) Solicitation of Clients
(c) A lawyer shall not solicit professional employment even when not otherwise prohibited by b if
(1) the person tells the lawyer he doesn’t want to be solicited by her or
(2) the solicitation involves coercion, duress or harassment

(d) This rule does not prohibit communications authorized by law or ordered by a court or tribunal
Rule 7.3(e) Solicitation of Clients
(e) A lawyer may participate in prepaid or group legal services run by an organization not owned or directed by the lawyer that uses live person-to-person contact to enroll members or sell subscriptions for the plan from persons who are not known to need legal services in a particular matter covered by the plan
