What is the difference between a duty and a responsibility?

A

Duty - what must be done according to the law (an act a member is obliged to do)
Responsibility - involves acting on your own will (an act where the limitations of the member is taken to account)

A duty cannot be passed on or adjusted, while the responsibility can be (we have freewill to not do our responsibilites, but it is an act the results from the members sense of being responsible)

every semester, a member would be allowed to choose their top 3 choices for committee

although may choice ka ng top 3 committees, hindi guaranteed na yun ung makukuha mo or doon mabe-belong sa committe na un since there might be hidden potential in other committees na hindi nakikita ng member mismo that can be seen by other members

Pwedeng may certain concerns regarding for example sa belief ni member such as religion matters, it must up to our own will to abide by all the official decisions–we are not required, but we are expected to abide to our own will
