What is the title of Article 4?

What is stated in Article IV, Section 1?
It shall be the right of every member to air their views and have equal voting privileges on all issues raised before any appropriate body before any decision is adopted by the organization
What does equal voting privileges mean?
Everyone must be allowed to vote and have the same voting powers
ex: president does not have 2 votes, each vote = 1 vote
What actions can violate Article IV, Section 1
Voting with proxies
Voting through text message and any other messaging platforms (only in cases where physcial presence is required such as GAs ie not applicable in FB group)
What is the appropriate body referred to in Article IV, Section 1?
General Assembly <- Executive Board <- Committees
What is stated in Article IV, Section 2?
It shall be the right of every member to undergo due process before any form of disciplinary action is imposed upon them in accordance with Articles V and XI of this constitution?
What is due process (according to lexical definition) ?
The legal requirement that the state must respect all legal rights that are owed to a person before any legal decision is carried
How can due process be implemented?
By giving the erring member a right to defend himself/herself. The erring member is also very much allowed and expected to pass a letter of response
What are some forms of disciplinary actions that can be imposed on a member?

What is stated in Article IV, Section 3?
Every member shall be entitle to equal and just treatment within the orgranization
What does equal and just treatment mean in Article IV, Section 3?
There is no heirarchy and seniority in the organization
What is stated in Article IV, Section 4?
Every member shall have the right to avail of the facilities and services of the organization
What is the difference between facilities and services?
Facilities - tangible assets (nahahawakan, mga bagay na maaring mabili or makuha outside the org)
Services - usually intangible assets (nakukuha mo sa labas ng org, things that are usually exclusive to the members ex. tutorials, scc bites, etc)
What are usual examples of Article IV, Section 4? Why?

What is stated in Article IV, Section 5?
No member shall be collected of fees more than what the organization requires?
What are the usual fees required by the organization?

How are the prices of the fees determined?
Voted every semester usually in every general assembly
How are late fees determined?
Voted according to the concerned body if magkakaroon or hindi and magkano yun
What are some notes on Article IV, Section 5?
There are no suddent additional fees, hidden fees, or any other fees
What is stated in Article IV, Section 6?
The right of every member to information shall be recognized. Corollary to this, access to official records, minutes of meetings, accounting of funds, official acts, and external transactions shall be afforded to the members of the organization. However, matters regarding unresolved disciplinary measures and application status shall be accessible only to the Executive Board, the adviser/s, and the Membership Committee
