Q

shape

A

is created when lines intersect or become joined. For example, a circle is a joined line just as a square is the product of four lines that join each other. Shapes always have length and width - this means that they are 2 dimensional. In art, it is the concept of “form” that deals with 3-dimensions.

A

can easily be measured because they have consistent lines. However, a circle is still considered a geometric shape because it is possible to express its area mathematically and to perfectly measure it.
