Frieze
Depicts an equestrian parade, for its majority. It then depicts a religious ceremony with the Athenians elders and various tools used for sacrificing animals. Then there is an image of 12 figures taller than the rest, interpreted as the gods.
Metopes
not described by any ancient sources. Appear to depict conflicts between Athenians and the other. Possibly a metaphor for the persian war.
