A
Willfully and maliciously sets fire to or burns any structure, forest land, or property.

A
General intent to willfully, commit the act of setting on fire under such circumstances that the highly probable consequences would be the burning of the relevant structure or property.

A
If there is blackening, but nothing is consumed, there is no burning; yet of any part, however small, completes the offense.

What is any structure, forest land, or property?
A
Structure means any building, affixed to the ground and either cannot be moved at all or cannot be moved without first being dismantled and detached from the ground. The burning of one’s own structure may be arson.
