What is an arrhythmia?
A
abnormal heart rhythm that causes the heart to beat too fast or too slow; this causes the blood not to be pumped as efficiently

What are symptoms of arrhythmia?
A
- may be asymptomatic (only detected during medical exam)
- feeling the heart beating fast (“fluttering”)
- heart beating abnormally (“skipping a beat”)
- dizziness
- shortness of breath
- fatigue
- lightheadedness
- chest pain
