A

Shot, bullet, missile or other projectiles that can be discharged by force of explosive includes:
- anything adapted
- anything by its completion or replacement or the correction or repair of any defects
- anything which is dismantled or partially dismantled

A
  1. Person 16 years + decides they want a fire arms license
    (age 16-18 need a parent/legal guardian permission)
  2. Applicant lodged with the Police
  3. Applicant sits and passes the firearms test.
  4. Police conduct inquiries into the applicant’s suitability.
  5. License is issued.

A
  1. Semi-automatic
    - non-detachable tubular magazine or magazines that are capable of holding no more than 5 cartridges
  2. pump-action shotgun, non-detachable tubular magazine (magazines capable of holding more than 5 cartridges).
  3. Any other firearm declared by Order in Council made under Section 74A to be a prohibited firearm.

What is a semi-automatic firearm?

A

Loaded with each pull of the trigger:
- Fires a cartridge and ejects its case.
Chambers another cartridge (unless all cartridges loaded have been fired).
