What is one of the principles governing the elbow joint regarding its’ motions?
The primary SD of the elbow joints are found in its gliding motions and not in its major motions (ex: Flexion & extension)
A somatic dysfunction of the elbow joint is primarily what?
Primary: Ulnohumeral joint.
Secondar: Radiohumeral joint
With wrist adduction what coupled motion of the Ulna is there?
Wrist adduction –> Ulnar abduction
With wrist abduciton what coupled motion of the ulna is there?
Wrist abduction –> Ulnar adduction
What is the reference point for naming dysfunction of the forearm?
it is the distal ulna
What motion of the radius is coupled with supination?
Radial head Anterior Glide
What coupled motion of the radial head is associated with pronation?
Coupled Motion: Posterior Glide of the Radial Head
