lived in the public stage, chosen by refined and active people, they seek honor, honor itself is too superficial to be the highest good, because, the Chief Good cannot easily be taken away, yet, honor comes from those who bestow it. Virtue is more important than honor, because we seek honor to believe ourselves good but we only seek it from those known to be virtuous
