How is an argument a discourse?

A

It’s a discourse made of a set of premises supporting a conclusion based on specific principals. The discourse has a specific interactional purpose: lending belief to an issue that is doubtful.

It’s a discourse providing reasons in favor of the acceptance of a conclusion which our audience or interlocutor is doubtful or contrary to.
