No, it is not safe. Cars heat up extremely fast.
What do road work signs look like?
Typically diamond shaped and orange. Note all fines are doubled in work zones if workers are present.

What does a yellow light mean?
Caution. A signal is fixing to turn to red. You must stop IF it is safe to do so. If you are already stopped, you cannot go if the light turns yellow.
What does a flashing red light mean?
Same thing as a stop sign. Come to a complete stop and proceed when it is safe.
What does a flashing yellow light mean?
You should slow down and use caution.
What does a red arrow mean?
Stop. You may not turn in the direction of the arrow while it is red.

Lights fixing to turn red. Stop if it is safe to do so.
What does a flashing left arrow mean?
Driver may turn left but must yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians and proceed with caution.
What does a green left arrow mean?
Driver may turn in the direction of the arrow (left in this case).
What should you do if you are approaching a red light and you want to turn right?
Come to a complete stop, check for opposing traffic and pedestrians, make sure there are no signs saying not to turn right on red, and go when it is safe to do so.
Is it legal to make a right turn at a red light?
Yes, UNLESS there is a sign there saying you may not turn right on red.
Are you required to yield to emergency vehicles at an intersection?
Yes, you must yield at an intersection to all emergency vehicles.

It is red with white letters and has 8 sides (octagon shaped).
What does the solid white painted line next to a stop sign mean?
You must stop before that line.
What should you do at a stop sign?
Come to a COMPLETE stop, wait until crossing vehicles and pedestrians have cleared the intersection, then you may proceed.
If you are approaching a stop sign and obstacles are blocking your view, what should you do?
Stop completely before the white line. Slowly pull forward so you can see and proceed when it is safe to do so.
What does a yield sign mean?
You must slow down and yield the right of way to other vehicles. You must be ready to stop when necessary.

The vehicle it is on is a slow moving vehicle.
