When is an ACGM given?

What would disqualify you from receiving an AGCM?
Convicted of a court martial or the disqualification can be determined by the unit commander

When is an ASR awarded?
(Army Service Ribbon) upon completion of initial entry training
What is the significance of wearing numbers on ribbons?
It represents the completion of NCOPD BLC = ribbon ALC = numeral 2 SLC = numeral 3 SMC = numeral 4
How are oak leaf clusters worn?
Bronze OLC - 2nd in succeeding an award
Silver OLC + ribbon = 5 total of the award.
Only 4 silver oak leaves can be worn on a ribbon, if the number of awards exceeds 4, a second ribbon is authorized
