a reef comprising of mainly coral and other organic matter.
photosynthesis-
the process by which carbon dioxide, water, and certain inorganic salts are converted into carbohydrates by plants using energy from the sun and chlorophyll.
algae-
Algae is a large and diverse group of photosynthetic eukaryotic organisms.
plankton-
Plankton are the diverse collection of organisms found in water.
estuary-
a part of the mouth or lower course of a river in which the river’s current meets the sea’s tide.
spawning-
the mass of eggs deposited by fishes, amphibians, mollusks, crustaceans, etc.
wetland-
land that is wet and spongy soil, as a marsh, bog, etc.
