What is the Scientific Method?

A

Refers to the use of investigative methods that are objective, systematic (these should constantly testing and refining of scientific theories to complete the cycle of the scientific method) and replicable, and the formulation, testing and modification of hypotheses based on these methods.

What does the Scientific Method Involve?

A

Objectivity - Researchers do not let prior experience or biases, influence them.
Systematic - Research is carried out in an orderly way.
Replicable - Study can be replicated easily, hence be seen to have reliability.
