Conventional winemaking
Temperature control, use of additives and or processing of many aids (adding sugar, so2, cultured yeasts, fining agents), manipulations (simple pressing, filtration, reverse osmosis)
Organic winemaking
Making wine with certified organically grown grapes and complying with rules that restrict certain practices during winemaking process. Allow common additives and processes including cultured yeasts, test nutrients and tannins.
Biodynamic winemaking
Must be made with certified biodynamically grown grapes. Demeter international is the main certifying association.
Natural winemaking
Reject many modern interventions in favor of artisan practices from the past. Nothing added and nothing removed. Minimum so2.
