Georgia recognizes a number of interlocutory appeals that are appealable as a matter of right in addition to those provide by the federal rules, including:
- Orders directing an accounting
- Orders granting or refusing alimony
- Mandamus or other extraordinary relief
- Orders granting summary judgment

Discretionary Interlocutory Appeals

Other orders may be appealed if the trial judge certifies that the issue is of sufficient legal importance and the appellate court agrees to hear the matter.
