Rhyme

A

repetition of identical or similar accented sound(s) in work.
END OF TERMINAL RHYMES: works that rhyme at end of verse line.
EYE RHYMES: works that appear to rhyme, when spoken do not.
EX: dog/fog, cough/enough, bough/though, ect.
INTERNAL RHYME: rhyme found within line of poetry (alliteration, assonance, and consonance)
SLANT RHYME: pattern of metrical structure & verse composition in which 2 words have their final consonant sounds and no preceding vowel or no C.S in common.
