A

A

A

A

Avoids

A

Clicking this allows for route modification based upon current avoids (e.g. SIGMETs Special Use Airspace TFRs or User Defined.)

Manual Avoid

A

Open Manual Avoid then create new by tapping Create New in bottom left corner then tap at least three points on the map over the flight path. This will produce magenta lines. Then tap finish. Finally tap Apply Changes near route bubbles. Once created it can be removed by clicking on the edge to open an option to remove it.

Preferred

A

If available shows FAA preferred routes between departure and arrival airports. If listed, routes are not pre-calculated until selected by the user. After selection, Genesis App will calculate the selected flight plan.

A

Tap inside one of the cells inside the Altitude/Speed Profile Table. Even though text is not blue it is selectable.

A

A

Screen provides information on departure and arrival alternates for the trip. Up to two arrival alternates can be selected.

A

When choosing an Alternate on this tab runway details for these airports will be available in the runway analysis section.

A

Tap Weather in Alternates table will provide current weather and NOTAM’s for selected airport.

Displays in Weather Column when weather is available for the ETA.

Selected Weather Within ETA Range

A

Pop Up header changes to indicate time and specific weather display in bold white. Ceiling at ETA and Visibility at ETA also display.

Add Other Airfield

A

Selecting to add additional alternate airport choices. The user added airport automatically becomes the primary alternate airport.

A

All Critical Alerts located in red box with a number inside it must be cleared prior to being allowed to file.

Filing Time Constraints

A

ETD must be within 24 hours to 30 minutes prior to be able to file. It is possible that some ARTCC may restrict time to 46 minutes prior to ETD.

Once all critical alerts are cleared and all information is verified to be correct press file button.

A

Provides departure and arrival runway analysis of Genesis selected runways.

A

A

Once filed only the filed version is available to be viewed.

Changes to Filed Flight Plan

A

If changes made within Genesis after filing but have not yet been submitted as a flight plan change the Trip Folder Tab will contain both a Filed and Current Data version of the Operational Flight Plan (OFP.) Only the filed version is allowed to be shared.

A

Available flight reports can be seen here. APG reports only update when a change is made to the trip.

Weather Reports

A

Weather reports are available at anytime and update each time this screen is viewed. A manual refresh can be performed by tapping the refresh icon.

The following items are set by the Admin Tool: Aircraft capabilities (e.g. RNAV equipped RVSM approved MNPS Approved) Flight Planning specifics (e.g. Default Route Type Alternate Minimum Plan Distance) Fuel Specifics (e.g. Available Fuel Profiles Minimum Landing Fuel Regulatory Basis Fuel Burn Factors) Filing Specific (e.g. Type of Flight Aircraft Type & Wake Turbulence Aircraft Equipment Emergency Equipment Aircraft Color Markings Pilot Contact Info) and Report Specific (e.g. Captain Signature Loading Signature Last Minute Changes).

A
