The Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) is a medium term all-round developmental initiative focused on restoring growth, investing in people and building a globally competitive economy. The ERGP was launched in April 2017.

set up in 1998, is the electoral body which was set up to oversee elections in Nigeria.

a system of government of one nation by another in which the governed people retain certain administrative, legal, and other powers.
International Monetary Fund (IMF)
an international organization that acts as a lender of last resort, providing loans to troubled nations, and also works to promote trade through financial cooperation
Jonathan, Goodluck
He is a member of PDP, former governor of Bayelsa State, who was sworn in as VP under Yar’Adua in 2007. When Yar’Adua fell ill and left to get treatment in a Saudi Arabian hospital, the Federal court confirmed Goodluck Jonathan as Acting President. Yar’Adua returned to Nigeria and died in 2010, but Jonathan remained as Acting President. He won election on his own right in 2011.
