How would you run an effective meeting?
- Agenda discipline
- Start and end time of meeting.
- Times against each item.
- Brief attendees to prepare specific information if required – manage participation up or down
- Put easier items at the start and end and the most important items in the middle to take advantage of when attendees would be most alert and engaged.
What is Unconscious bias?
Unconscious bias refers to a bias that we are unaware of, and which happens outside of our control. It is a bias that happens automatically and is triggered by our brain making quick judgments and assessments of people and situations, influenced by our background, cultural environment and personal experiences
How can Unconscious bias effect the team?
- Cause fractions in the team
- Reduce communication
- No collaboration
- Lower productivity
What are inclusive communications?
An inclusive communication is designed to reach as broad and diverse an audience as possible with accessibility for different groups built in and part of the core communication.
What are formal communication processes?
Formal communication is communication through pre-defined channels set by organizations. They are typically conveyed from top leadership to various departments that funnels down to lower level employees

What are the benefits of a diverse workforce?
- Will bring different ideas and new ways of thinking to the table.
- Members of staff that come from a range of backgrounds will have had different experiences
- A diverse workforce can add to your employer brand and company culture
What is the RACI matrix?
The RACI model brings structure and clarity to describing the roles that stakeholders play within a project.
Responsible - People or stakeholders who do the work.
Accountable - Person or stakeholder who is the “owner” of the work. Sign it off
Consulted - People who input knowledge
Informed - People who need to be kept in the picture
What is a Strategic Alliance?
A strategic alliance (also see strategic partnership) is an agreement between two or more parties to pursue a set of agreed upon objectives needed while remaining independent organizations.
What is the Delphi method?
The Delphi technique is a group communication method where a panel of experts arrive at a consensus over a series of questions and discussions. It is used for estimating or forecasting.
