A
Between 30 degrees and 60 degrees North and South of the Equator.

What is the reason for moving to the Mid-Lat?
A
Moderate climate, better climate and soil for farming (most people live within this latitude).

A
Near fresh water, lakes & rivers, drinking source, irrigation for crops, transportation/trade and fishing.

A
Better soil for crops, closer to oceans for trade (think sea level), oceans help moderate climate.
